I WATCHED THE MOON IN MY SCHOOL

When the teacher had told us that we were going to watch the Moon, I was very happy.

I did not believe that I would ever get the chance to watch it. Before that, I saw the telescope only on TV.

We waited fairly long for the sky to get clear.

When my turn came, the weather was very nice. Sky was almost black.

I really saw the Moon! It looked like a big cheese, a little grayish though. I could clearly see its craters

made by the impacts of meteors.

We were shown a device used to catch meteorite particles. It had a shape of a bunch of grapes made of a half-cut bottle. In the middle of it, there was a plastic five-liter balloon serving as a handle. You put it on the roof and wait for quite a long time. We were also shown the map of the Universe and a microscopically  tiny meteor particle. I was very happy.

I’d love to watch the Moon again. I would also like to see Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus,

Neptune, Pluto, several comets, stars and other galaxies.

I would love to go to Venus because it has many volcanoes.
